Our resident artist is Brigid McCarthy Bell. Her work can be seen on our restaurant walls and her story is below.
My Story
I am Brigid, Sean's (older!) sister. I am a keen artist and am very happy to be invited to display some of my paintings in the restaurant. Many of my works are scenes from around Thorpdale and elsewhere in Victoria. I developed a love of art when I was a child. That love continues, especially for painting landscapes. While living overseas I have exhibited art in Copenhagen, Moscow, and London, and now living in Australia again, in Thorpdale! I live with my husband near Yarra Glen in the Yarra Valley.
